Costumer Designer, maker and set dresser Callout
We are looking for someone who has skills in costume design, making and set dressing and fabricating based in Staffordshire with a keen interest in devised, outdoor theatre, to be part of a brand new show at Bolton Gate Arts.
Imprints: Tales from the New Wild, explores the stunning landscapes and stories of the mysterious Staffordshire Moorlands.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest and/or background in making and designing costumes and/or set dressing for community and devised theatre, and who is comfortable working in outdoor spaces. Experience and ability to work with community groups is essential.

Puppet Fettler
We are looking for an artist/maker with interest in large-scale puppet design and fabrication, based in Staffordshire, to be part of a brand new devised outdoor show at Bolton Gate Arts. Imprints: Tales from the New Wild, explores the stunning landscapes and stories of the mysterious Staffordshire Moorlands.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest and/or background in making puppets, lanterns or carnival images. Experience making with willow or textiles appreciated but not essential. We are looking for someone with practical artist skills and understanding of 3D form, who is comfortable working in outdoor spaces.

We are on the hunt for shows for our 2025 spring/summer season. We are searching for a rich and varied programme of shows of all sizes for either The Sheep Pen Theatre (up to 250 capacity) or The Stables (up to 100).
